Never use one. The feedback is really good. A rebuilt unit would cost you more. Because of the excellant feedback I'd give one a shot in a daily driver

It's 96 dollars. lol I think the Sec stage 3 is over 300 dollars. I wouldn't put a spec clutch in my ride if they were giving them away. I have to use extra-strenght poli-grip to hold my dentures in when driving something with a spec clutch in it.

i agree with redpony88, a spec 3 is a GREAT solid clutch and doesnt feel like its gonna burn up driving it down the street. if it feels like your going to break your stool loose you need to get a quadrant and see how easy it is to drive with this clutch. CF's are garbage and lighter pedal feel is for babies.

It's the chatter I can't handle on the Spec clutch. Very popular problem with them. They have a bunch of azzwipes working their customer service. Had one show up at my shop damaged. Took 30 days to get a replacememt from them. I never had an issue with the holding power. I never worry about pedal pressure. I've taken out more Spec clutches than I could count. People who drive there cars daily learn to hate them when they spend an hour a day in stop and go traffic. I tried a stage 2 in my own Mustang and took it back out in three days. The only reason I waited that long is I was waiting on a Centerforce to arrive. It's just personal preferance
