Question Help Running Rough

This is a two part question, I recently changed my spark plugs, wires and distributor and now its running rough, can anyone tell me what could possibly be wrong? Second, where could I find new vacuum tubes?

Thanks!

1st double check your firing order
Then make sure that all of the wires are secured properly on the plugs.

You did gap them before you installed them, right?
Also sometimes if the wires are touching each other, you will get some mild spark scatter, which could cause hesitation and make it run rough.

when you said you replace the distributor, do yo mean cap and rotor or the whole entire dizzy?

if just cap and rotor do as said above^^^ check gaping and try to keep wires seperate even though they shouldnt be arking.

if you replaced the dizzy did you make sure you restabbed it TDC on #1 cylinder

Good call, I missed the distributor part, but thats a good point and therefore probably the problem.

But check the simple things first and narrow it down.

Thanks bro's and I will let you know after I check everything you mentioned. Also, I replace the cap and rotor. One more thing I should mention is that I did not gap the plugs, I assumed they were pre-gapped.

they are pre gapped but it only takes a small tap to the electrode and they are no longer equally gapped. pull them all and gap em .50-.52

Found out what the problem was, Cylinder #7 is misfiring caused by metal shaving inside the piston.

Tell me about it. I have to get rid of it cause my wife doesn't want me to put the amount of money it will take to get it fixed, back into the car.
