I looked at the same thing . You need to get the mounts which a 351 sets around 2 inches higher than a 302 so the mounts help lower it around 3/4 of a inch and then you have to get the custom brackets to bolt to the 351 that allows you to use your 302 accessories and then a set of headers that drop the exhaust down to get it to the factory 302 location a upgraded radiator and etc. it was around 500 give or take to get the odds and ends to drop the motor in on top of the price of the motor.so I bought another 302 and looking to rebuild it as well instead of all the swapping parts thing.But the always so there is no substitute for cubic inches it is all up to you and what you and your budget wants to do.Good luck !!!!!!!!
all you needed was the fox 5.8l conversion oil pan, and conversion headers

Darn it and I just bought a 94 cobra motor to rebuild and I could have went ahead and picked up a 351. Thanks for the info I might see about selling what I have and going for the 351. Appreciate the 411 again
