flywheel problem?

flywheel problem?
Not sure if my mechanic did the correct thing. I had high pitch squeeling coming from clutch/tranny area. Checked the past threads here and sounded like a bad throw-out bearing. You all were correct. Mechanic confirmed it. Bad throw-out bearing, pressure plate baldy worn and needed a new pilot bearing. Resurfaced the flywheel and all bad parts were replaced. Should my mechanic have just suggested to install a new flywheel? I have a bad vibration starting at 1500rpm and gets stronger with high revs. I have done all I can...new plugs, wires, TFI module, fuel filter, clean mass air wire.
I have resurfaced flywheels in the past with no problems, but pressure plate was never that badly worn.
Thanks for any useful advice.

sounds like your flywheel was either put on incorrectly and is off balence or the flywheel itself is offbalenced. i put the wrong weights on my aluminum flywheel and it viberated worsse at higher rpms. i just put a new cutch in without resurfacing the flywheel and found out that it needed to be because when i start to let the clutch out o get viberations but goes away when im off the clutch

Could also be the harmonic balance (the other end of the crankshaft)
You don't typically need a new flywheel unless it's gouged or under spec. They can measure the spec before they turn it and after with a caliper.
If there's a vibration, check the other end of the crankshaft. The balancer is a counterweight to the flywheel so if they took off a bunch of the flywheel they'd possibly need to remove some weight on the balancer.

if your flywheel isnt put in correctly with the right 6 bolt pattern it will not be balenced with the harmonic balencer. hense your viberation. see that you didnt have this issue before then took the flywheel off i would say it is ur flywheel not properly balenced or cut toooo much

The flywheel can only be mounted in one direction due to the bolt pattern.
There are two things that come to mind right now, after resurfacing the flywheel it could be out of spec (too thin, but the mechanic should have mic'ed it)or the new pressure plate is defective and out of balance. I would take it back to whoever did the work and say WTF.
