Question Sea foam cleaner

Has anyone used this before to clean out their intake and motor? I was recently told I was going to be out of a job by the end of the week, so I decided I was going to clean my throttle body and seen it was really bad down in the intake. My friend say's he has used it and loved it.

Is it good to use and how?

Thanks in advance...

yes it cleans carbon out and generally you follow instructions on the can and most fill the brake booster with it to start treatment.

just put the cleaner in a container and let the vacuum it in? I also heard to mix with water and then put some in a full tank of gas?

I wouldn't mix it with water and dump it in the gas tank, you'll most likely cause more of an issue than you'll solve, but yes let vaccum inhale it in the motor

I have used it many times on my car. I actually helped a neighbor of mine do it on his car this past Sunday. Just have the seafoam sucked through the vaccuum tube a little at a time and let it sit for like 7 minutes. Then watch the smoke show. Then go back and add more and let it sit for another 7 minutes ect. Good stuff.

I just got bought a Mustang a few weeks ago and got it running after it had been sitting up for years. I am going to try it and see what happens! Wish me luck
