Default Wheels used to tweark now they don't ..Why?

Just had a new 331 with AFR 185 --24lb injectors and a properly tuned MAF. Put in. When the car was stock , with a 65mm throttle body and 3.08 gears .. i would tweark evry time I snacthed 2, and third hard. Now with the new mods and the 3.73 gears .. it does not.
Don't get me wrong It seems to pull a lot better ..but I was just wondering if any one could offer an explanation. THe dyno says it makes 302 RWHP.

Any insight is welcome

When you first break loose the tires and do it well with a good horsepower and torque providing engine, you spin them so fast at first that the tires don't have a chance to make noise...seems wierd at first, but this is what I've heard and it seems to make sense. My car doesn't make hardly any tire noise. It has a lot to do with what tires you have as well.

yea my friend had a ls1 that was lightly modded (high 10's) and when he had street tires on it never really made any noise just felt like you were iceskating the rear end but the tires would dump smoke out.

Are you sure your clutch isn't slipping or your tans is holding, depending on type of trans... With that much more power over stock, maybe your old stuff just can't hold like it used to.
