there is a ground wire running from the bat. to the timing cover and check to make sure none of the ceramic is cracked on the spark plugs and also make sure that the injector wires are pushed in all of the way

engine ground from timing cover to chassy, cylinder head to firewall. replace them both with larger, finer stranded wire. i would also ground your alternator too.
i upgraded the following, pretty much a "bulletproof" grounding system. my charging system has been flawless ever since these upgrades and i highly suggest them.
4awg: computer to chassy, alt to chassy, cylinder head to firewall.
0/1awg: engine to chassy, batter to ground.
