Won't restart

Hello I hope someone can help me I have a 92 bone stock 5.0 and whenI go to
Start it the car will start up then idle low then die I will restart it she will
Idle low If I dove the car or let it warm up and shut it off the car will not restart and if I keep trying the car smells like it is flooding but after a few hours the car will restart if anyone can help me that would be great

so the car will restart as long as its not hot? probably have a bad TFI module thats getting heat soaked and spazzing out

believe it or not this happened to my buddys S10 with a 355. It wouldnt start after it was warmed up. was because of the heat sheild for the starter.

Sounds similar to a problem I had in the past. Get the TFI module checked out as mentioned above, if its still good, borrow a buddies distributor and put it in yours and see if it helps any. My problem was actually the pick-up in the dizzy.
