canister purge?

I want to remove my charcoal canister and assiocated wiring? my question will it set a code and or effect drivability?

Second can you just install a resistor in there to trick the computer? Like the egr or no?

It will not set a code.. All it does is filter the air coming from the vent on your gas tank, so it will also not affect driveability..
