Default transmission swap

I have a 89 5.0 automatic mustang and I was wondering if a t5 tranny out of a 89 to 93 4 cylinder would fit in my car? If it does what would I have to change to make it work?

you'd need to use the pilot bearing out of a 80's ranger diesel, input shaft tip is smaller on a 4 cyl t-5

So it would work? And thats the only thing that I have to change? What about the driveshaft and would it just bolt up or would I need a bellhousing?

well of corse your gonna need to do all the rest of the stuff for a t-5 swap, like clutch, flywheel, t-5 bellhousing, clutch cable and pedals, and a t-5 driveshaft is best to use and you'll need a t-5 crossmember
