Smog pump and EGR valve removal questions...

the small 90deg plug at the bottom of the pic (looks like that hard plastic vacuum), is that connected to anything? doesnt look like it. and the one that is going straight up the middle, to the top (looks like the wider rubber hose that i was referring to), where do u have that going?

perfect. vacuum running good??? ac??? i dont have ac right now but that 90deg FL temp is going to get me to start thinking about it, but i usually dont even run with ac. never really like to. especially now in a conv.

i am not sure. i would assume not. and i would also assume that the vacuum res is not needed also because it seems as if the ac is the only thing that would end up drawing from it. but thats just my educated guess. by my understanding the vac res gets filled from the intake and being that it has the check valve on it, it will only allow vacuum to the vac res and not back to the intake. therefore since the only other line coming from that fender was for the vac tree on the psgr side (for ac) then the other line shouldnt be needed. but like i said, that would be my guess. my ac stuff is hooked up but not working. and havent even spent more than a min looking at it. i'm wanting mine to work. realized today that it is damn hot out here in FL and only gonna get hotter.
there should be a good "how-to" made up for this process. removing egr and smog. if i had the time to put things back so pics can be taken for the whole process, i would. but thats alot of work to get it back and off again.

Yes a "how-to" would be sweet! It would end all of the "smog and AC delete" threads... I think with the pics I have and what I've learned. A "how-to" could be done.. Once all is said and done with my delete. I just might write one up!
