E7/GT40 valve question

Well, I'm not married to the 331 and would definitely do a lot more research before making a decision. From just some initial searching I had heard of some issues with durability/longevity with the 347 because of the increased angles on the connecting rods. But then I also heard that manufacturers had adjusted their designs to compensate for this....so....I'll talk to an engine builder before I go with it. I'd also like to make one that revs a little bit higher which I would think leans towards something with a little shorter stroke. Not sold yet...and I've got some time to look at it! Just got the wife on board with the idea so now I need to start saving and get my detailing on the side off the ground to get my funding!

Nice, I checked out your build and fordstrokers.com seems to be pretty reasonable for the short blocks. Figure by the time you have the stock block cleaned, honed, get a new stroker rotating assembly and all that fun stuff you'd be around that price anyway. I see that the 331 and 347 are priced the same too. I'll have to check that out as an option. 6600 rpms is good.
