Default Opinions on fine tuning my setup

Well... Im making this thread to see how matched you guys think my setup is and what YOU would change if you had it (and dont say heads, outta budget right now lol)

Cobra Intake manifold
70mm PP TB
Edelbrock 6025 performer RPM heads (1.9 intake valve)
Ferrea Valves
Scorpion 1.6rrs
Comp XE276hr with matching springs
Completely fresh 302 bottom end with some crappy made in taiwan balancer
I HAVE an s-trim that will find its way in the mix... eventually.

Personally Im thinking about porting the cobra lower and ditch the 1.6rrs for 1.7s.. think i would see some additional power? Also, i would like an ATI or Fluidampr to replace my ******* balancer

What would you guys do to this setup, or does it look pretty spot on to you? I was thinking about switching to a more blower friendly cam, but a 112 LSA isnt SO bad.. dont really think it would be worth the time/$$

Adder, I had it dynod back in october.... First pull was on 10 degrees advance, and it made 270/300, second pull was on 12 degrees advance and it made 282/303. I drove the car 35 minutes there, pulled it right on the dyno and ran it.

BUT, the car always had a vibration. I pulled the engine maybe 1000 miles later, and the mains were totally wiped out and the cranks no good (I assume thatd rob some power, lol). Also, IT WAS NOT TUNED AT ALL for those pulls. The car was pinging like hell, so i retarded the timing a bunch and it ended up on 10 degrees. then i advanced it two degrees for the next pull. I know for a fact everything is off, not to mention i can add a decent amount of timing. I'll get it back on the dyno, im expecting 300+

*edit* - So you dont think i would pickup power porting the lower and swaping the 1.6s for 1.7s?

dont do 1.7's unless the cam asks for it. comp cams website will tell you what the cam is designed for. i wouldnt stray from it.

like im doing 1.6's on my cam comp cam xe270hr-14...they make another model of the same cam but it asks for 1.7's

well if the design was for 1.7 rockers and you use 1.6's you wont acheive the advertised results of the cam.

do you alreayd have 1.6's? if so i wouldnt waste the money on buying new rockers. but thats just me.
