Default Steeda Clutch Quadrant Install Problems

ok, I have read other threads about quadrant installs. Looks like everybody got them on with no problems, all gravy. But, for the last two hours I have been lying on my back trying to get the new one on. There is a big bracket in the way. Are there any tips, or am I doing something wrong?

All I can say is, don't get pissed. It didnt help me at all. Just take it easy. Also, I might suggest taking out the front seat if you dont feel like getting all cramped up and junk. GL.

have the pedal all way up and put the middle pin on. (Thicker one) then push the pedal all the way to the floor and swing it around and get the second one through. make sure you have the spacer in there first or you will be doing it twice.

I have a one piece aluminum quadrant. I have to slide both on at the same time.

i know its once piece but one of the rods sticks out a little further so you can stick it on just enough to hold it there and then press the pedal down.

lol. Its weird, I see people whos quadrants just slide on, but others have a hell of a time. There is a big bracket blocking the quadrant. I think this is impossible.

Is there ANY other way to do this? Do the rods slide out?
