a simple bolt extractor would get a wheel lock off. so would hammering on a tight socket.

that'd what Id do... cheap and easy, just hammer on a smaller socket onto the bolt and should be easy to come off.

no, not yet. and i feel bad for saying that too. ive had the car since 7/03 and been to the track numerous time, done plenty of street racing in it, but never to the track. im just afraid im gonna make myself look stupid and either really screw up racing or break the car. i might actually run it this year once i get my other one running, so if something does happen to break, ive got a backup car.

yes, that sounds easy, but if its like mine, mine is rounded on the top and shaped like a barrel kinda, so i dont kno if that would work or not, if it did, it might ruin the socket. thats why i said to see if you RENT the sockets, that way, when youre done, you take 'em back and get your money back.

I ended up ordering that set of 3, I will let you all know how it works out. I am sure I will have use for the tools someday, even if they don't work for this...lol. Thanks again!
