Default 6al vs. 6al-2

wut exactly do they do? is it worth getting the 6al-2 vs the 6al? i am running a msd dizzy and a tfi coil with a ford racing 9mm wires

did you notice anything with the msd dizzy?
i just installed a crane cams fireball hi-6, im pretty sure its similar it give multi spark,hi discharge.i cant tell a differance but my care runs really smoother

to be honest bro i cant tell ya when i bought the car it had the msd dizzy so i just stayed all msd wit the ignition..it does feel a lot better than my old gt though i admit that

and primetime wut exactly is a 2-step?
rev-limiter for launches and over-reving?

usually boosted cars use 2 steps so they can build boost off the line, NA guys use them as well so they can have consistant launches

how exactly does it work? can you turn it off and on? i still want to be able to rev it obnoxiously at other cars lol

The 6al is an analog box and the 6al-2 is a digital box. There are two 6al-2 boxs. One just has a rev limiter and the other has a PC adjustable timing curve built it.

You set the rev limiter and thats it. You can't cut the rev limiter on and off in the car. You really don't want to rev higher than where you have the rev limiter is set for anyway.
