Default Cam

I need a cam for my new 347 stroker.

Im going to be running World Windsor Sr. heads on an M&R Engines 347 shortblock with an Edelbrock Performer intake. The car has 4.10 gears and a T5.

I just want something off the shelf- no custom stuff. I want the car to drive good on the street too.

Any recommendations?

you shot down the best option and for what 30 dollars more....comps xe series are 270.00 vs 300-325 for custom, also change the intake

a 347 needs to breath, the runners are no where near capable of allowing that 347 to breath the way it needs to be, if you weren't happy with custom then combo was snafu..either way ymycyp

You need a REAL custom ...... and yes, agree with MJ 300%... let that little beast breath, don't choke it.

Maybe Ill get the intake ported a bit if its cheap enough. I cant afford a $500+ intake right now. I could always change it later on when money allows it.

I had a real custom cam done by Ed Curtis of FTI.

an off the shelf cam is fine if that is what you want. just pick the perfect one and it will perform great. look into andersonfordmotorsports make sure your springs match the cam talk to your engine builder about making the perfect combo. definately do some porting on that intake
