Default installed the gt40p's and now slow start

I did my head swap this weekend and now my car is taking forever to start what the hell is the problem?

is timing set properly?? also need to make sure fuel pressure is not leaking down.

Did your compression change? If it went up and the starter was already weakening, it might be showing now that it has to crank against more compression. Nut yeah, check the basic stuff like fuel pressure, timing etc.

Slow starting as in the starter is turning slow or slow as in it cranks and cranks and takes forever to fire up???? 2 different problems.

sorry guys, the answer is that it is cranking for like 5-8 seconds before it starts. It doesnt do it every time, sometimes it fires right up and I had .020 shaved off my heads so the compression did go up a bit.

I checked my fp and its perfect 38 w/vac 41 w/o. Its weird that half the time it fires right up and the other half it takes a while to start. i'll keep f***ing with it and see what happens
