timing with 110 octane?
#7
It won't help, it will hurt.
Octane(without getting into EXACTLY what it is) is basically a measurement of the fuel's resistance to ignition sources. Higher octane fuel generally is harder to ignite and burns more slowly, but as a result is also less prone to detonating. Running high octane race fuel in a low compression engine will probably just hurt power, or at the very least will result in slightly worse mileage and possibly plug fouling.
Most premium pump gas is a bit better refined and has less crap in it and a better additive package, so you can justify running 91-93 on a street car, but not 100+ race fuels(unless it's a high boost blower engine).
