Default explorer motor

I picked up a 2000 explorer motor with 40 thousand miles on it. Im putting it in my 83 mustang. which cams work good on this motor?

so im guess gt40 intake and gt40p heads correct?

the p heads im doing carb set up on it i didnt feel like doing fuel injected swap in my car

hmmm, im not a carb guy so im not entirely sure in that case what cam you should use. im pretty sure there will be different recommendations between carb vs efi on your build.

I think this is the cam im going to go with. same specs as the E cam more operating range and 20 dollars cheaper.
