Default waterpump ?

HI guys have a quick question. I deleted my hvac unit and heater hose coolant lines, and assioated metal tubes. I plug off the ports on the engine, but there is this one brass tube coming off the water pump.

Now my question is does that brass tube come out if so is it threaded can i just stick a plug in it, or do i have to crimp it together and braze it shut? Do they offer a after market water pump that does not have those brass fittings? Any experienced help is appreciated.

Sry guys forgot to meantion vehicle is a 1990 mustang coupe, w/ 306
