Default tuning questions

has anyone had experience with the moates quarter horse chip? i was wanting to attempt to tune my car myself. i was just wondering how hard it was going to be to get everything dialed in. are there any tuning programs that are easier/better than others? thanks in advance.

If you plan to tune it yourself there will be a learning curve, I'm not farmiliar with Quarter horse but thee are some PMS tuners out there that are decent but with such is a learning curve
