Default bushing in t5

does anyone know how much play the yoke on my driveshaft should have on the tail shaft of my t5? the yoke will move up and down and side to side to a certain extent. i have a wicked vibration in my car (shifter, clutch pedal) etc

there shouldnt be any noticeable play... but it obviously has to be a little loose, so it can spin

i can move it like an 1/8" up and down....1/16" side to side....

stock D/S or aftermarket?

If its a stocker, pull it out and lay a straight edge across the yoke... see if you have a groove worn into it

Sounds like a lot.A T5 tailhousing would have to come off to replace the bushing which would be a PITA.There is a tool that can actually extract a bushing and allow one to be installed with the housing on the car.Hopefully you won't need it ............

If the bushing is worn out,Make sure you have a good balance on the shaft as well as good U-joints obviously because the vibration may have worn out the bushing.Pinion angle and corresponding angles good?

i dont have the tools to determine the angle. im swinging by crt performance tomorrow for a second opinion. will let u know.
