i am goin carbed on my 88, i know i need a dissy out of a 85 5.0. but i am a lil lost on the rest of the system, i have a malory hifire ign box but do i still need the ign box out of the 85 too? ive never instlled on of these so i must show my ignorance

no all you need is the dizzy and the aftermarket box It makes the whole install easier to lay it before you hook it all up

personally I like to use the whole duraspark set up which is the 85 dizzy, the ign box and coil = all you need, but if you use your box you won't need the factory ign box

ok thanks guys so i just gotta get the dissy and a coil now, just trying to make a list of what i got left to get for this thing, but i keep needing more paper to write it on

i probly will in a month or so, i got the instructions from the box but you know how they are copied so many times they could be in spanish for all i know.lol i'll let ya know when i get that far
