Default Nitrous Question?

OK I know a Stock short block wont hold a 200shot for very long before fragging...so my question is this...

will it hold if I put 2 stages (100 shot each) on it one out the gate and one half track at 6* timing, with one step colder plugs and 93 octane?

One way to find out.................. Flip the switch!.......$Boom$.............Let us know how it works out!
My guess it will put a rod thru your block. sooner or later. Then again you might be suprised how long it holds up!

well my only thing is the blocks...well bottom end are good for 450-500...well thats what I read anyhow so i figure if i set the timing down and colder plugs to keep detonation down it should be ok....right?

I just say give 'er hell. Can't see it being as bad as a straight 200 shot and plus the worst that can happen is you blow it up which just puts you all that closer to that 408 you want!

personally I'd run race gas to be on the safe side and make the kits wet, and if your fuel pump is stock, with a 200 shot you'll be livin' on the edge.

it's not the horse power, it's the torque.

you might "only" put 400hp to the wheel's, but you will be putting about 500-600ft lb's of torque out.

it's your car.

but im betting it will hold for a bit, blow clutch's, your rear, might tear a motormont. and im betting it will tear that motor apart soon enough.

(plus if your not using a plate or direct injection, your going to have a couple HUGE back fire's through a fogger system)
