Default Electrical Gremlin

Ok, this is the second thread I've started in 2 days (first one concerned performance advise).

I have some kind of electrical problem in the car. 1992 Mustang LX Convertible, 4sp AOD, stock 302 140k miles, stock everything except radio. The problem is that the brakes and turn signals only work randomly, and the hazard lights stay on constantly without blinking if I turn them on. All of the bulbs are good, and I checked all the fuses under the steering wheel. The one that controlled the lights I'm having issues with was a 25amp instead of a 15, but I fixed that. What could be wrong and where should I look? I'm sort of lost here. I'm thinking that there is some kind of problem with the hazard lights that is throwing a wrench into everything else.

What mjr46 said... or the turn signal stalk is going bad... or you have some loose connectors in the steering column.

Sorry I took so long to get back. Thanks for the replies. Where exactly is the hazard flasher? Is it a fuse or link or something? I'm taking it to a mechanic friend to see if he can help.

Ok I figured out which one is the flasher, I just need to get it back from the shop after I dinged the brand new paint job with my truck. I should be shot for incompetency. Anyways, if that doesn't fix the brake and signal lights, where should I look next? Where are the flashers for the signals and is there a circuit or something that controls the brake lights that I could look for problems with?
