So my buddy has been having problems with his 94 gt mustang. Its progressively gotten worse. It use to take a few times for it to start but now he has no spark to the coil, and no PIP signal. The only time it starts is weird. He'll turn the key on, and then everything turns on, but no start. then he'll walk away fir a second and hear the car like turn on again. he says its like the system reboots itself.

anyone have any ideas? I personally have never heard of anything like this before...

Oh and he says that he's already tried replacing the coil, ignition module, ccrm, and the pcm and hes just intermittently not getting a PIP signal.

Does he leave the key one when he hears it "reboot"? Have you 2 started with the basics and made sure all the grounds are clean and tight? Maybe his ecu took a dump on him.

Yes he leaves the key in and yes hes checked the basics. Any ideas?

has he replaced the dizzy since thats where the PIP is?
