oh geez i forgot it was a cobra. i thought we were working with e7's. do a cam and spring ugrade the comp xe274 would be a great cam with a performer intake

so 1 of the 3 cams you guys said would be good. my friend can only do one at a time so the cam first would be the best option

yes, cam swap and matching spring upgrade. His car already has 1.7 roller rockers, so the cams I listed will work well

Do not listen to what Grnstang said... the 274 is measures with 1.6 rockers. I can almost guarantee that the stock 1.7 rockers and the 274 cam will give you PTV issues

thanks for all the help. Im going to tell him to get the 276 like you said. I need to find some specs on it and a video is hard to find also.

You won't see much gain from a cobra to something else on stock heads...

I would think a BBK would be a downgrade even...

Adder, you dont quite look like I pictured..... I take it the balding is from years of undo stress caused by stupid questions on MF?
