To a point. You don't wanna be too cold and stay out of closed loop.

I was wondering the same thing. Mine will run at like 140 on the freeway and may get up to 180 in town, when the A/C is off. If I turn the A/C on, in town it will rise up to 220 or 230 and I have to turn the A/C off and idle the temp back down. I didn't know the A/C would affect the temp that much. I do not know what thermostat I have in mine, as the car is fairly new to me. Has anyone ever seen that?

I was apprehensive the aforementioned thing. Mine will run at like 140 on the freeway and may get up to 180 in town, if the A/C is off. If I about-face the A/C on, in boondocks it will acceleration up to 220 or 230 and I accept to about-face the A/C off and abandoned the acting aback down.
