5.0 stalls above 4500 rpm?

Anybody here help me? I've got a 1991 Lx 5.0 with an aod and it wants to stall out at 4500 and above? plugs are new and gapped at .054. Cap and rotor and wires look good, and just changed the fuel filter a few days ago. Is it running out of fuel? Is the ignition module or coil going bad?
