Default 400hp?

hey guys, im a new guy here and new to the 5.0. i was wondering what i should do to make a 400hp motor off of a 347 stroker motor. i looked into the trickflow top end kit but i heard that you cant get max potential out of the kit using a 347, so i was wondering if i could put the stage 2 cam in and make it work better? any help or advise is appreciated.

that kit is for a 302 = 302 power, you need tfs "fast as cast heads" at the very least, a victor jr efi, or tfs box intake, and I 'd have a custom cam made, the tfs kit you hope will satisfy your goal will fall well short of it on a 347

no means to thread jack, but how would this cam set do?
Duration 286/294,Lift .542/.563

and how would it do as a DD? OP, if you get the fast as cast heads, and R box intake, its only 2800 compared to 2500 for all the same components, gaskets, ect of the 360 top end kit, minus the unneeded head covers.

why do you want to retain the trick flow kit? it's just as easy to get all the components of the kit like seals and bolts, ect, but replace the milder 302 oriented parts with the box R intake and fast as cast headers for about 300 bucks more. cam's are a simple buy once you decide on your specs. It seems as if your building your block around the top end, not the top end around your block. Going 306 is cool too if that's what you want, but don't go 306 just because you can still use the trickflow kit, which still needs all the parts installed separately. The kit isn't like a pre-built kit or something, its just a "kit" because it's all the Trickflow components that Trickflow recommends you use together on a 302.
