are canfield's 192 good heads for a stock 5.0?

Honestly they look like decent heads. However, I think you can get Trickflow TW's or AFR 165's for around the same price. And I know they both perform well, especially the AFR's.

They're a great head, just not great for a stock 302. I would stick with something in the 165 (AFRs) to 170 (Twisted Wedge) range for a stock, or mildy modified 302. If you plan to build a 331 or 347 in the future, the Canfield 192s would be a good choice.

alot of people have good results with canfield, however, I'd rather have TRick flow or afr heads, just my preference

pistons will most likely need notching for the AFR 185s, I am happy with my 165s although I don't really have anything to compare them to.
