what will i need to put a tremec 3550 into my 1990 LX 5.0 T-5

all you have to do to the cross member is grind the spot welds so it can slide back a bit

thats why I said modify or buy a new one.. I modified mine at first then I ended up buying a new one

i wont have to replace the clutch or pilot bearing or driveshaft or yoke? also is the upgrade worth it are they alot better than the t5s? does the speedo cable gear stay the same?

The tremec I bought was power shifted in a 7.80 car for four seasons. When I tore it down, all it needed was a 2nd gear synchronizer.

speedo stays the same, you will need a 31 spline yolk, the clutch thats in there will work
