Default Losing Coolant from behind the water pump.

Alright got everything done today put on the waterpump and fired it up... Sounded amazing perfect everything untill i looked up front again and noticed it was pouring water from what appeard to be right between the waterpump and timing chain cover. okay no problem i pulled it off and looked it over then tightended it back down expecting that to fix the problem.... it didnt it still leaks from the driver side right where it meets the timing cover... and its not just when it gets pressure its when you top off the radiator period... anyone who can help me please give me some insight

might be a crack in it, or might be a not fully sealed gasket, put some rtv on it and it should fix it....ive also had a problem with a leak right near the water pump, and it turned out to be just a bad clamp....

you probably need a new water pump. I am not sure how studs are going to prevent a leak over bolts. The only reason you would need studs is if you had some accessory or bracket that you also needed to attach in the same bolt hole

there are two gaskets on the water pump.......1 pump to plate and the other is plate to cover, you are using both right??? and I coat the gaskets with permatex's "the right stuff"
