Default should i buy this motor

my girlfriends dad has a 302 out of a 91 crown vic i belive he said and its efi heres the details
-302 (efi) Complete oil to intake also manifolds and starter
-4 speed with overdrive
-ecu
-harrness
-43,723 km or (27,169)
this should go into a another 86 mustang i have on th e back burn no problem right

Price $400 Canadian for it all should i go for it will it have about the same power as a stangs 302 and also a stang supercharger kit will bolt up perfect correct

That engine probably has the 289 firing order rather than the HO firing order, so if you get it you need to be aware that the cam, crank and computer from a HO engine won't work with that engine, unless all are matched up. You may need to use the '91 wiring harness also and may require some custom wiring.

Nothing wrong with those engines and the price is right.

i plan on using everything it come with just droping it straigth into a rolling chassis so ill be using stock ecu and harrness it comes with and also it comes with the tranny to just to clear that up

oh i kno that but like i was hoping to get some more intel on it im not very up to date on the crown vics motors do they have just about as much get up and go power as mustangs 302 ive never used 302's i kept to my 408w which has turnned out perfect

i have no idea what i'm talkin about,but there has to be mountains of highway patrol,or rcmp(canada eh),cop cars out there.there is gears ,intakes,tb,heads.i know they can move.just a thought

I HAVE INSTALLED A 5.0 FROM A 89-91 LINCOLN,INTO 85 T-BIRD , HARNESS CAN OVERLAY INTO ENGINE COMPT, I HAVE MY PCM LAYING IN LEFT FRONT, ENGINE AND
TRANNY BOLTS IN OK, W/ MODIFIED X MEMBER AND EXHAUST, AND LINCOLN TRANS ARE LONGER (1 1/2 INCH?), I HAD DRIVESHAFT MADE, BATTERY IN TRUNK AND FLIPPED MANIFOLD, YES GOOD DEAL, TAKES TIME THOUGH, GOOD LUCK
