stock 5.0 is running rich? Need some help here
Hey i just bought a 5.0 and i figured you might be able to help me out. #8 cyl will foul the plug after a few hundred miles. power seems about 85%. I was driving last night on hwy and noticed a few sparks in the rear view mirror. Not sure what could be but it was kind of scary. Also wen revving in neutral the exhaust is a little dark. Motor is stock, i am not sure what to do here, hopefully you might be able to help me. Thanks

heres an update. I have checked the compression on the #8 cylinder that fouls plugs and the psi is 140. The car smokes a little but compression is good. Car still runs a bit sluggish and i dont know what else to do. How do i adjust timing and what should it be?
