I've had this problem since I've got the car. The instrument panel warnings(low fuel, oil, battery, etc..) will come on when they want to and go off when they want to!?! Also, my water temp gauge is hardly ever accurate. My oil gauge never works. And my fuel guage messes up too!?! oh, and sometimes my headlights or should I say all of my lights.. Will cut out and come back on and do this a couple of times once it does it..

I'm thinking when 1 of the previous owners took out the dash to paint it. They screwed something up in the dash wiring!?! And/or when they wired up the fuel cut-off switch. They messed up my wiring or something!?!

Any ideas?

If someone installed aftermarket gauge faces, and they didn't take care of how they removed the needle and the placing it back in the same place, they COULD cause all of these problems.
