So about a month ago my car started having a somewhat rough idle and died once or twice right after start up, and then today i just got my car back from getting the clutch replaced and its gotten a lot worse, it died at a stop light and had a very rough idle and tried to die multiple times, the thermostat guage is also out if that means anything...any ideas on what could be causing this

clean or replace your IAC and reset the base idle

If that doesn't work check for vacuum leaks. Usually you can tell its a vacuum leak if it sounds like your fuel pump is dying and you volt meter is jumping.

Damn good advice im going to check into that tommorrow my car is haveing that exact problem. I just assumed the fuel pump was shot
