Default Gummy clutch and low friction point = fork/bearing

Gummy clutch and low friction point. But when I tap on the clutch softly the next time I use the clutch the friction point rises to a normal point. Maybe I will have to change the fork and the bearing. SOmeone said these Ford Racing clutch cables are not that strong, but this is my second one in 5000 miles or so. I dont think I will need another so soon. Any experience or ideas with this.
