Default should i replace the lifters?

working on a h/c/i upgrade have a tfs 1 cam, didnt think about replacing the lifters until a buddy told if i was going to, so my question is should i or am i ok with the stock ones its on a 89 gt 5.0

for roller cams.....no need to replace lifters, reuse them

I just reused mine. Make sure you put them back in the way you took them out.

^^^that doesn't matter, I've thrown mine all in a bucket and with a new cam install put them in the holes

Hmmm...I did not know that. I assumed that you could do that without an effect, but I thought it would be better to put them in the way they came out due to the wear of the cam. You learn new things every day.

I think it's pushrod's need to go to the same cylinder if your re-using them.... correct?

im using the stock lifter's still. Stock cam though, but 110lb comp cam behive springs, and on the bottle too

It's never a bad idea to replace old parts depending on how many miles, if the motor had sludge in it, etc.

as longas all the push ros are the same length that is of no concern either
