Default Best fiberglass Cowl hood?

hey everyone i believe this is my first post on here. 2 days ago a lady hit my stang now i believe i will be gettin a brand new paint job and i was thinkin about gettin a cowl hood way before this accident ever happened. i have a 351 but aint put it in the vehicle yet so a cowl hood would be something good for my car. i want a 4 inch and if anyone has pics of a 4 inch cowl on a fox it would be great. which brands have the best fit? i saw a hood once a few years back and it was incredible but forget who made it

Aside from engine bay clearance, does the cowl actually function to suck in fresh air or extract hot air?

Lucky did you cut holes in the bumper cover for the intercooler?

if it doesn't cost at least $400 it will wave to you from 100' away... in 'glass you get what you pay for

the only 3 brands i would buy from are :

1) cervini
2) HO fibretrends
3) harwood

i like cervini and harwood best , because the HO fibretrends don't have the piece that blocks the inner fender and you can look into it (hard to explain)

This is about the best price I could find. But i've never dealt with this company. I called and he said it was a $20 crate fee and like 80$ for shipping. I'm assuming that a fiberglass company can make decent fiberglass that won't have air pockets and such in it.

Cervini's was the best quality I found when I was looking for mine, until I stumbled across a Keanan (spelling???). They are a Florida based company, that doesn't advertise (they don't need to, they sell to dealers and by word of mouth). I called them, and they told me to stop by. It's a 2 hour drive, so I made a trip out of it with my wife one weekend. When I got to their shop, it was a small family business running out of a small office building. When they showed me one of their finished hoods, I immediately pulled my wallet out and handed them $330 on the spot. Hands down the best quality I had looked at including the Cervini. The finish was impeccable, and the fit ended up being perfect. It's not only the exterior finish that amazed me, but the underside was just as nice. That was over a year ago, but I'd give them a shout. If you search the other Mustang sites (corral, stang.net....) for "cowl hoods", you'll see Keanan pop up often.
Their number is 321-536-5148
