Default intake clearance

Will the bbk ssir fit under a stock hood on a 95 gt. I know you guys dont like the intake but i do. Thanks

without phenolic spacer...yes.

btw ssi-r is a large box style intake. i hope you're running big cubes, high rpms or boost. otherwise you're gonna kill your performance.

I will be running nitrous on it. How will an aftermarket intake like that hurt my performance? not trying to be a dick, jw

Like FivePointOhh said, that intake is good for a boosted motor or one that will be seeing high rpm, for a mild motor its not really gonna do you much good. Even with spray, it's not really worth it....there are better ones out there for less money.

bbk says the ssir is for 300 and over hp. wouldn't the box style intake be good for even nitrous distribution? what intake do you guys recommend?

get something with longer runners(eddy, typhonn, holly) on it for the TQ vs short runners for the high rpm since mild-ish stock foxes dont wind up that tight anyways.
