should i get a tuner/chip?
Okay, so I've got a 5.0 that is getting bored .30 over, a stage 1 trickflow cam, valve spring upgrade, trickflow street heat upper/lower intake, 65mm throttle body, cold air kit, and shorty headers. other than exhaust and clutch, these are all of my upgrades. my question is, am i gonna NEED a tune on my computer? and secondly, what are good tuners/programmers that i should look at? id really like something where i can have multiple settings and change these settings without having send off chips or like that. ANY input would be great considering i HATE dealing with electronics or anything electrical. thanks guys!

I believe Diablo makes one. Not really sure how limited it is.
I ended up getting a chip with 3 tunes on it. Cost me 200 bucks with a few free re-burns if I didn't get the dyno time.
I don't know anything about tuning but, I can tell you that you need to do your homework when doing it. Especially when an aftermarket cam is involved.

so i should definitely take it to someone instead of using a programmable tuner or anything i can just do myself? and are there any handheld programmable tuners for a 93? because ive looked and ive only found modules and chips.

there are no hand held tuners for our cars... which is why I said take it to a shop and get a chip
