Is there an easy way to calculate the axle ratio?

Default Is there an easy way to calculate the axle ratio?

In other words, with stock tires/rims, a '94 Cobra should be at x RPM's @ 60 MPH with 4.11's, Y RPM's @ 60 with 3.73's etc...

Just for info, I'm at about 2100 RPM @ 60 in 4th.

New to the site and I love all of the info! Thanks in advance!

mark a line on the driveshaft and a line on the tire with the rear jacked up and spin the rear tire once around to the same point and count how many turns occur on the driveshaft like 3.5 turns on the driveshaft would be 3.55 gear ratio

Thanks Ryan. That solution was so simple, I feel like a complete idiot for not thinking of that before I posted! :-)

Use this calculator and plug in different gear ratios. I think you have 3.08's.
