convertible top ?
Ok so the other day I went to put my top down and one side went down but the other stayed partily up, and that's when I noticed a pop rivit that snaped, now do I have to take the top off to fix it or does this have to be done by a professional?
The rivit that broke.

depends where the pop rivit is?? if it's along the top channel above where the window seals as I know there is a few plates there with rivits, then you'll have to remove the weatherstripping then unscrew the channel I believe then you can roll the side back a little, I just put a top on my 89 and it's a task but all you need it sounds like is a little top frame repair

that's not so much a rivit but a pivot pin for the retractable top, you might wanna see a body shop for that or drill it out and make a pin set up with a cotter pin and washer but pending on clearance/interference issues with the frame of the top it might have to be a tight fit
