Default Timing Cover

will a '69 timing cover from a 302 work on an '84 302? i'm sure it will. but figured i'd ask you guys. thanks for the help.

yes but it has a dip stick tube in it for front sump motors and you'll have to block it off, alsp you'll have to look at where the water pump will bolt up and see if gasket surface will match up

sounds like too much work for me. guy is looking for 25 bux for it. pretty nice deal. but i can pay 50 and get a brand new one. sounds like it will be the best option. thanks for the information.
