Default how to install flywheel ?

how the keck does it go on the engine?? anyway you feel like or there is a special way it goes... its a new 5.0 mustang flywheel it has 2 markings on it but thats all.. y dunno how it goes on.. it has somekind of weight build in but only on one side


ohh and how many FTlbs of trque for the bolts

The weight is because the flywheel is balanced. I'm pretty sure you can put it in whatever way the bolt holes line up. Make sure you have the right face towards the engine block and the right face towards the clutch. I can't recall the torque specs off of the top of my head and am not going into the garage to dig through papers.

oh ok thanks i tought it went on a special way..

ill try to find them on the net thanks tough

easier than i tought to find

Flywheel mounting bolts 75-85 ft/lbs

pretty sure it will only go on one way with the bolt pattern

Yup, just gotta sit there and spin it until they line up. Sometimes you will do it and do it and it seems like it never does but it will.

as previously mentioned the holes ARE NOT evenly spaced there is ONLY ONE way it SHOULD go on, however with the right amount of force it MAY go on incorrectly and your balance will be affected.

and that weight is a balance fsb v8s are externally balanced
and if your doing a trans swap make sure you have flywheel bolts and not flexplate bolts
