unbolt drive shaft
unbolt distribution block from the brake lines on top of the rear end.
remove ebrake cables
unbolt the 2 shock bolts.
unbolt quad shocks
support rear end now with jack under pumpkin
unbolt the 4 control arm bolts, remove springs and shes out.
should take you no more than an hour or so depending if your bolts want to fight you.

Or you can pull the axles and just unbolt the distribution block from housing and unbolt the brake backing plates from the axle tubes after pulling the axles. That way you don't have to **** with the ebrake or bleed the brakes.
The only difference between cars with 7.5 and 8.8 is the 8.8 cars have brackets for the quad shocks bolted to the frame rails behind the wheel well. Don't forget to take these off of the donor car unless you do not plan on using quad shocks.
