My friends '88 that he just got, doesnt seem like its downshifting to first at all. either that or its just SLOW AS *****. It feels like it has no "giddy up" what so ever. The car is stock save for full exhaust, pulleys, cai, bumped timing, gutted from rear seat back, and with 225 tires it doesn't even chirp when you floor it. is this thing just in desperate need of some 4.10's or could it not be down shifting properly?
check tv cable adjustment and count all the shifts
is the tv cable the one with that little allen head adjuster screw on it? I hate fox throttle body's, why on earth would they put the linkage on the bottom where its a b*tch to get to.
