Default i dont get it

i have a completely stock 88 lx. why is it that when im at wot, the car seems like its never going to shift into od??? i will be to where its at 6k rpm and still hasnt shifted, so i just let off???

You don't really want to be at WOT in 4th anyways... That is by far the weakest gear in any transmission due to the fact that it is made solely for cruising, or light acceleration.

Because they are made to not shift into OD when you are WOT.

thats why the 3/4 spot is in the same position
